PPhoto Club ARÉMAC is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 and established in Saint-Lambert, on Montreal’s South Shore, in 1982.
Our mission is to promote photography as a means of artistic expression, through the practice of black-and-white photography, as a nod to the history of photography and a humble tribute to its great masters.
Here’s a short list of our activities. Except in summer and during the holiday season, we have bi-weekly meetings for:
- Present and discuss our work in black and white;
- Discuss photography in general and black & white photography in particular;
- Plan group or individual outings on the same theme;
- Attend lectures and presentations by various specialists;
- Prepare our annual exhibition…
All in a friendly, good atmosphere, with the pleasure of sharing and discovering.
