Classical music takes centre stage
Founded in 2011, Festival Classica set itself the mission of creating a public space for fostering encounters between classical music, artists and the public. True to its educational mission, the Festival also gives up-and-coming musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents on the Scène de la relève de la Caisse Desjardins Charles-LeMoyne, which is dedicated entirely to them.
Every spring, Festival Classica brings us an outstanding program in a warm family atmosphere right in the heart of Saint-Lambert, with satellite concerts presented in neighbouring cities. The Festival features a different theme each year, bringing together some 100 performers for around 10 days and presenting a series of outdoor and indoor concerts, shows for young audiences, and a host of other activities. Music lovers are thus treated to remarkable masterpieces and renowned performers year after year.

Various stop-off points offer other amusements for visitors to enjoy alongside the concerts. The Notes gourmandes event features a space on Victoria Avenue devoted exclusively to Quebec agri-food products and alcohols. Also in Saint-Lambert, the Classic’art live painting event welcomes artists who create works inspired by classical music. Lastly, the Classica Hi-Fi Lounge gives festival-goers the opportunity to enjoy an amazing musical listening experience.
