The Mouillepied Historical Society recently received another donation from the Lavigueur family. After paintings and models on historical subjects in 2019 and 2023, thirteen other paintings by his relative, Alfred LeRoyer, have been added to its collections, along with two dozen old photographs. The LeRoyer name is closely linked to the water treatment plant, with three generations of this family having worked there. A testimony to a Saint-Lambert from a century ago, this collection is an exceptional addition to the collections of the Historical Society, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary at the end of the year. The Society encourages families to share these artifacts (photos, newspapers, paintings, objects) with it, so that they remain in the collective memory and avoid being erased. Many thanks to the Lavigueur family who completed this donation with a generous monetary contribution.
