A non-profit organization, the Saint-Lambert Council for Seniors pursues a mission of promoting the social, mental and physical well-being of its members and their participation in community life.
To do so, the Council, located at Maison Desaulniers, offers its members a variety of courses, activities and outings.
Courses include art, languages (French, English and Spanish), line dancing, physical activities, bridge and much more.
We have several groups engaged in various activities (such as knitting, quilting, bridge and scrabble) that meet each week, as well as computer, science, model train and book clubs.
Some of our activities at Maison Desaulniers include lunches, bingo, card parties and weekly movies in our own theatre.
In addition, we offer pedicures at a very reasonable cost, monthly blood pressure clinics and a daily contact service for elderly people living alone.
Outings include the ballet, theatre, sugar shack and casino, among others.
Membership is open to any Saint-Lambert resident aged 55 or over. We accept members from other cities, provided they represent no more than 20% of our membership.
