Saint-Lambert Games to Benefit Cancer Research

Depuis 2002, le Dr Volker Blank et son comité de bénévoles organisent chaque année au parc de la Voie Every year since 2002, Dr. Volker Blank and his committee of volunteers have been holding the Saint-Lambert Games to Benefit Cancer Research at Seaway Park.

These Games welcome participants of all ages (3 years and over) for half a day of outdoor Olympic-type activities. The whole family can take part in the Games, which feature non-competitive sports activities for children and their parents:

  • sprinting,
  • long jump,
  • shot put,
  • famous potato-sack race,
  • tug-of-war.

The goal of the Games is to encourage youngsters to be active while raising funds for the Cancer Research Society (CRS). The activity has raised more than $88,000 so far for this good cause.
